[Resolved] KCDC Section I VPS Cloud Degraded

We're currently investigating an issue with our KCDC I VPS Cloud section that is having intermittent connectivity issues. We'll provide more details once we have them.

We've confirmed there is a problem, we're working to resolve it.

We've fixed the core issue, and are waiting for things to recover.

Our monitoring department has become aware of continued intermittent latency on VPS Cloud 100 which servers some of our Managed Cloud customers. At this time, services are online and fully restored, but we've re-opened this case as we're continuing to monitor for further events.

We'll post further updates once we have more information / this issue is fully resolved.

We believe the issue to have been caused by a firmware update, which was taking our redundant failover NICs offline causing the parent to kernel panic. We've temporarily removed those redundant links until the firmware package can be rolled back/updated again from the vendor.

We are continuing to monitor stability and will keep this incident opened until this evening to ensure no further issues.

We've monitored this situation all day since removing the redundant links and have had no further issues. We will schedule a maintenance window to replace those / update or rollback the firmware.
